Going "flannel" over football

So what started out as a nice smoke on the porch to enjoy the fine weather. . .
turned into multi-tasking, all-afternoon, football-watching event.

Even when the sun started to set. . .

the fun and celebration continued.

Backpacking Trip #1

Last weekend, Jamie, Mike and I joined four other friends on a weekend backpacking trip. We had a great time and Mike did a fabulous job on his very first backpacking trip. We didn't tell him until Saturday afternoon that this trail was one of the more difficult in Pennsylvania.

(Mike wasn't up for breakfast yet. . . quite the sleepyhead!)

Granny was doing so much better this visit! I was so proud of her and all her progress. Heard from Aunt Judy last night though that she ate food at the nursing home and is back in the hospital for a few days only hopefully.
