Just in case you haven't heard, Dad is having knee replacement surgery on June 13 here at UVA. I think the hospital stay is 3 days with about 2 months of varying degrees of rehab. He is currently having to ice it most days, so hopefully this will help. His daily basketball games with Joe and Allison don't help, but they LOVE having him come out and play "one on two" with them, so it is hard to resist.

Dad, it's probably a good thing you're not hiking the first week in Scotland with your knee in such bad shape. I'm sorry it's giving you such a hard time. I hope this procedure will be a relief!
