meet our new dog! we got him monday from a breeder north of omaha. we are still undecided on a name but he's a very happy pup. we got him a kennel last night and he loves it. potty training has been going better since then. he loves being outside, playing with his chew toys, and snuggling. he absolutely hates the leash....any advice on that? he's a 4 month old boston terrier.

new job

Well, after two very good (and seemingly never ending at times) years at Timberwood, I have decided to leave and work at a lingerie store downtown called Derriere de Soie (Silky Bottom). It was just time for a change and I really like the store, as well as the owner, so hopefully it will be a good fit. My last day bartending is Thursday and my first day at the store is Friday so hopefully the transition goes smoothly!

Paul on crutches............

Paul has a very bad sprained ankle. There are three ligaments in the ankle and the doctor said he sprained all of them. He has to be on crutches for the next two weeks. It can take up to twelve weeks to heal:( Paul - we're praying for you!!
All the google images for crutches looked pretty grim....but this one looked fun.

Finger Lakes

We are off to the Finger Lakes region of New York this weekend to tour some wineries with friends. It is another home football game so we are being kicked out of our house. :) We're planning on camping at a state park but I'm a little nervous because the temperature is supposed to get down around 30 degrees both nights. That's a little cold for my liking. What's going on with everyone else this weekend?

Class Practice Sessions

Massage School is going well! I love the teachers and material that we're covering. My classmates are all nice and we seem to be bonding fairly well. But the best part of the school is that we have to practice on each other every day! That means that I get some sort of massage every Monday thru Wednesday. We are starting on Swedish massage and will move on to Reflexology around Thanksgiving. That means that by the time I see all of you in November, I'll be trained to give a full-body Swedish massage.
