I'm not sure how much meal planning has taken place yet but i think it's a good time to get organized and start signing up for your meal spot. if ben and aily would be up for taking a meal too, i've heard great things about their cooking. should we post what day and what meal we'll take and then email the reicpes to mom like last year??? if anyone has a better idea, let me know. i just want to get the ball rolling on this. bon appetite

Am I allowed to do take-out as my meal? :) Just kidding... I will probably have to work on Wednesday and Friday so maybe I could do either breakfast on Thursday or dinner on one of those days if you guys don't mind having a big lunch and then eating a bit later.
Jamie and Ben won't be down until Wednesday evening, so maybe they could pair up and help with Thanksgiving dinner or something. Maybe Ailey and I can cook a meal earlier in the week. What if we make dinner on Tuesday?
Hi everyone. I won't be down until Wednesday night also and John has to work on Friday so we're not sure when he'll be down. I think he'd like to come with us on Wednesday and then leave late Thursday or REALLY early Friday to be at work by 10am. So anyway, John won't be able to cook at all. And I need help if I'm going to take something on! Let me know what I should be ready to help with. I would rather help some with each meal rather than be in charge of one by myself.

Thanks to all of you for your ideas and help! Dad is ready with his belgium waffles...and I can make tofu/mushroom lasagna.....and then lentil soup one day for lunch....and of course we will need to save time for Christians...
I found out that I have Tuesday and Wednesday off (well, Tuesday I'm on call but Wednesday the store is closed) so that frees me up for meals. I still have to work Friday and Saturday but since I worked 52 hours last week (therefore pushing me into overtime) Susan said I could have some days off to save her some money and give me back some sanity. I want the girls to come in one day though so schedule in some time for me on Black Friday!
