I saw this before/after project on the apartment therapy blog today and thought maybe instead of doing drywall in the basement, this would work. what do you guys think? it would be much easier but i'm not sure it would look as cute in a basement.
It's so funny that you posted this because I was just thinking yesterday how much easier it would have been to just put paneling back up and paint it white. I really liked it when we had it in our old bedroom downstairs. It gave the room a cozy, cottage feel. If I were you, I wouldn't touch drywall with a ten foot pole!
Thanks for the suggestions. We need all the help we can get....:) If you know of websites that could give us ideas for the bathroom....let me know....the window in the new shower adds so much...opens it up so nicely and makes such a difference...but we don't have that option...
